Panel: Responsible AI in Practice
It’s understood that AI will drive business transformation, but not one single area is responsible for successful AI implementations. For CDOs it’s crucial to adapt to think collaborative environment and help lead the c-suite to a truly data-driven organization with AI solutions at its core.
The Data & Trust Alliance was founded by CEOs who believe that the future of business will be powered by the responsible use of data and AI. Members include CVS Health, Deloitte, IBM, Mastercard, Nike, Pfizer, Transcarent, UPS, Walmart and more than a dozen other companies. They are actively engaged in creating practical tools and management practices aimed at responsible and profitable usage of data and AI. This panel will cover the ways in which Alliance companies built and adopted Algorithmic Bias Safeguards for HR (in advance of regulation around bias in HR) and ‘new diligence’ for M&A teams to better evaluate AI-centric businesses, as well as work underway to establish data provenance standards that will help foster the trustworthiness of data (and therefore of AI).
• Saira Jesani: Deputy Executive Director, Data & Trust Alliance, and Partner, SYPartners (moderator)
• Travis Carpenter: Vice President, Data Sources, Mastercard (On "Data Provenance")
• Richard Andrews: Senior Counsel, Transcarent (On "M&A of AI-centric businesses")
• Meredith Feiner: Talent Managing Director, HR Strategy & Transformation, Deloitte (On "Algorithmic Bias in HR")
